Purchase of a boat vol 2

HURRA!!! a new boat "Stern" has been purshased. Bianca 111, hull nr. 72 from 1987

We had seen a lot of yacths i think 4 in reel life, 1 in foto and 1 trough a skype call and 1 Swan 391. But we agreed that a Bianca 111 wuld be the better choise for our famely of 3.

We choose a Bianca 111 because we liked:
  • The quality and craftmanship from Bianca
  • The design by Elvtrøm & Kjærluff and the layout
  • The price range more bang for the buck
  • The look a nice 1980's design

111 - 1984 nr. 27; this was the first we looked at and is was kind off okay but it was sold before we could make and offer.

111 - 1985 nr. 37; this yacth was in bad shape and needed a ton of work so we made a real low offer and i think we could had got it. But good we didnt. TO MUCH WORK and money.

111 - 1985 nr 36; Badly mentained yacth we took one look and went a way.

111 - 1981 nr 7; Very nice yacth. It was really good mantained in a yard every season located i swizerland :(  and for ok price. The price for getting it to Denmark was to high so we had to drop it and it came with the small keel and small engine. Dont buy the early numbers of 111 in my opinion.

Swan 391- 1982 nr: 2; Very nice yacth from Nautor Swan but the owner is total unrealistik with the price. All teak needs to be taken off before this boat is ready for sailling.

111 - 1986 nr. 68; Really nice and mantained yacth we where in the proses of buying thise one but took one step back because it didn't have the two tanks, masthead rigg and teakdeck. But in hind site this was a close contender. It needed new sails and teak, rigg etc.

SB - side of Stern.
We choose Stern a Bianca 111 because she has all the right specs; wheel stering, masthead rigg, no teakdeck, the "big keel"and deep rudder, new rigg, lots of good new sails and a well mantained engine. The only "spec" we didn't get is the lead keel because it is really hard to find a 111 with the abow specs and the lead keel.

Cockpit - with new teak just needs some sandpaper and soap and it will shine again.
Main cabin.
Nav station - a bit old electronics but theese are easly replaced.
The head.
Front cabin
Entrence
Engine room
Front cabin - looking aft. The teak has its original finish and still in good order.
SB - bunk.
Port - bunk.
Keel bolts and drains etc.
